Job Description

  • Review and establish factory and supplier processes to ensure that they are following established inspection procedures preferably in Denim /Knitwear
  • Set-up and maintain controls and documentation procedures
  • Audit inward fabric, hardware and trims and ensuring only quality components are accepted
  • Ensure that no faulty components are sent for production. If minor faults are present in the fabric or hardware, defects should be marked on the fabric/hardware and communicated to cutting/production department
  • Perform in-line inspection and end-of-line inspection on production floor of all factories
  • Perform inline inspection, pre-final audit and final inspection in finishing departments
  • Audit of the packed goods prior to offering shipment to buyer QA
  • Responsible for analysis quality reports and prepare improvement plan
  • Ensure the right quality of the final product by conducting quality audits in manufacturing process
  • Work at vendors Inline to train & guide the production process according to our requirements

Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production inspection on textile-garment area
  • Fluency in English is a MUST
  • Worked with global sourcing office, brand buying office, buying agent or trader
  • Knowledge about product quality standards, textile materials, garment production and compliance
  • Very familiar with textile supplier communication and cooperation for garment manufacturing
  • Recognise the importance of meeting quality standards to meet business objectives and brand requirements
  • A team player who can give full effort to meeting brand's quality standard
  • Open to listening and asking questions to obtain needed information and flexible to coordinate among relevant parties to resolve problem issues
  • Refer problems that cannot be addressed to the appropriate resources in a timely manner
  • Good time management skills to meet assigned deadlines

  • Textile Engineer/Garment Education
  • Computer knowledge with experience in MS Word, Excel , Outlook and digital reporting systems
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Product Person with extensive technical background in production and fit
  • Willingness to travel in and outside Turkey
  • Ability to work with multi-cultural environment, international brands, multi-lingual, multi-time zone business partners, counter-parts
  • Residence in Istanbul
