Job Description
* Propose mood board, color palette, direction for collection and send to head of department
* Prepare mood board with different category collection like full set of bedroom textile such as
Bedsheet, pillow sheet, Duvet cover, blankets, towels, Rugs, Robs, table runner etc.
* Experimenting with colors, fabric and texture.
* Follow the latest trend for home textile and develop new design concepts.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and textile
technology.
* Follow up with supplier on providing latest design and select from design department and make
sure collections will be coherent in the store; and follow marketing calendar for seasons.
* Dealing directly or through Fashion Merchandiser with the supplier in terms of samples.
* Use your time management for collection planning, reviewing and ordering for arrival in right
time.
Successful Applicant
* Provide the supplier with the detailed requirements of the collection (line up and tech pack)
including the sketch, Fabric, Color, garment, measurements etc.)
* After getting the approval from the head department, start working on the samples sizes and
technical pack then provide the supplier with your comments, quality, and any other
requirements to proceed.
* Supplier will send the corrected /revised fit samples with corrections in case if need it
* Giving final approval for production sample and lab dips.
* Manage design process from inspiration to production ready factory specs.
* Participate in design and trend research, identifying new trends, techniques, color ideas and
product concepts
* Specialized with home textile
* Can use software (Illustrator and Photoshop)
