Localisation: Malta, Valletta (the company handle work permit obtention)

Details about Visa - Work Permit and Permanent Residency

1. The company will apply for a Single Permit – it combines a permit to reside and work

 You will then apply for a Schengen work visa, also called a type D visa.

2. The visa is usually given for 3 months, by this time you would have applied for the residence permit, once you have the blue receipt and ID card, you wouldn’t need the visa anymore. You would still be able to roam freely in the Schengen.

3. Once you have been for 5 years, you may apply to become a permanent resident. This involves a lengthy application process incorporating paperwork as well as language and culture classes. 


Job description

  • Organising and managing workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with the client representatives, project stakeholders and teams
  • Working with onsite engagement team & client team to gather requirements, determining expectations & finalise deliverables
  • Interfacing effectively with other members of the team and the Solution Architect to ensure that the CRM solution continues to meet client’s requirements
  • Leading the solution on a work stream, making design decisions and creating solution documentation
  • Demonstrating excellent foundational consulting skills, including analytical knowhow, written & verbal communication & team participation
  • Delivering high quality business and software solutions and services to clients ensuring the implementation of best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configuration/customisations the creation of high quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation including support for testing activities;
  • Delivering all consultancy and configuration work according to project methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully: on time and on budget
  • Contributing to activities as required including building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations
  • Working on the creation of Dynamics 365 solutions and industry templates
  • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations of business knowledge, skills and behaviour
  • Identifying business/project/support risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary
  • Communicating progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally
  • Supporting practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry specific solutions
  • Supporting and doing people management, people development & career progression support, performance assessment and management
  • Ensuring timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training
  • Working on own initiative and with minimal support if needed
  • Carrying out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the management team
  • Always represent KPMG’s Microsoft Business Solutions team in a professional and positive manner.
  • Have awareness of product roadmap and the content of future releases of D365FO
  • Demonstrate awareness around upselling and company capabilities


Profile

  • Bachelor or Master
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services / consulting firm
  • Exposure to presales activities would be an added value
  • Prepared to travel
  • Experience/Knowledge about ERP implementation methodologies and have strong analytical acumen
  • Experience on operating in Shared Services or nearshore teams is an added asset
  • Ability to perform under minimal supervision and perform in changing environments
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
